Its fur is white with black on the shoulders, legs, and ears and around the eyes. Males grow to about 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and weigh about 220 pounds (100 kilograms). The diet of a panda is made up almost entirely of bambo and eat as much as 10kg (22 lb) of bamboo a day. Giant panda have a lifespan of around 20 years in the wild.
